WEST SPRINGFIELD:  Charles "Chuck" Kelliher, 69, of West Springfield, died on July 14, 2017 after a short illness.  He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Raymond and Charlotte (Calkins) Kelliher.  Chuck graduated from Holyoke High School, Class of 66 and then went on to graduate from Holyoke Trade School as a printing apprentice.  He joined the Holyoke Fire Department in 1973 and retired in 2005 as Deputy Chief.  Chuck was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent many happy hours at the lake house in New York.  He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (Ross) Kelliher, a son Charles and daughter Meghan.  He also leaves the light of his life, granddaughter, Bella.  Chuck is also survived by his brother Raymond Kelliher and wife Colleen of Westfield and many loving nieces and nephews.  Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 29th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Barry Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.  A private burial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O Box 1848, Longmont CO 80502 or the National Down Syndrome Society, 8 East 41st St, 8th floor, New York, NY 10017.
