HOLYOKE

David Lee Steinbock, 75, of Holyoke, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Bannerman) Steinbock and was a 1960 graduate of Holyoke High School. David was a United States Navy Veteran, serving from 1960 to 1964. He was a skilled carpenter and flooring installer. He was a member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America Inc., and an avid fisherman. David is survived by four children: Keith Steinbock and wife Kim of Toledo OH, Kyle Steinbock of Chicopee, Kristin Brodeur and husband Donald of Easthampton, and Kimberly Ottomaniello and husband Nick of South Hadley; eight grandchildren: Riley, Madison, Daniel, Allison and Hunter Steinbock, Cam and Sam Brodeur, and the light of his life, Emilee Ottomaniello; a sister, Bettyjean Bennett and Husband Frank of Colorado Springs CO, and many friends at the yearly Springdale “Donut Fest”. Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his former wife, Carol (Demers) Steinbock. Committal will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
