HOLYOKE:  Dorothy H. (McNairn) Gray, 88, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully Saturday May 6, 2017 at The Atrium in Agawam. Dorothy was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Wilfred and Mary Agnes (O’Connor) McNairn, and was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart Grammar and High Schools. She was employed at the former White & Wyckoff, and for 20 years served as lunch room coordinator at the Blessed Sacrament Primary School. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Deacon Kenneth Gray in 2000, as well as brothers James and John, and a sister, Cecelia. She was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Parish since 1963, having served on the PTO Board, Parish Council, and Blessed Sacrament Auxiliary. Dorothy is survived by four wonderful children: Kenneth P. Gray, Jr. and wife Debbie, Mary Lou Laprade and son-in-law Dan, Nancy and fiancé Rachel Hargraves, and Lori and husband Ron Sedergren; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Mary Lou Bolko. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
