HOLYOKE:  Edward Francis Rudnicki, age 87, of Holyoke, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Holyoke Medical Center.  He was born and educated in Nanticoke, PA son of the late Stanley F. Rudnicki, Sr. and Mayme C. (Layman) Rudnicki.  He was a United States Army Aircorp Veteran of World War II serving from 1942 to 1949 and then was a Firefighter with the United States Air Force until his retirement in 1972. Edward is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Monica Ann (Forgash) Rudnicki of Holyoke.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. There are no calling hours. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
