HOLYOKE

Florence J. Soltys, age 62, of Holyoke, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Holyoke Health Care Center, in the presence of her family. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Stanley and Caroline (Gorecki) Soltys and was educated in the Holyoke Schools. Florence was a communicant of the former Mater Dolorosa Church. She is survived by a son, James J. Soltys of Chicopee, a sister, Irene A. Trotter and her husband Larry of Granby, a brother-in-law William Justice of Holyoke, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by a sister, Carol A. Justice. A prayer service will be held Sunday, May 7^th at 4:30 p.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley.
