Francis J. Boisjolie

WEST SPRINGFIELD

Francis J. Boisjolie, 82, of West Springfield, died Thursday March 29, 2018 at Mont Marie Health Care Center in Holyoke. Francis was born in Holyoke, son of the late Aldorf and Doris (Hamel) Boisjolie. He worked at Holyoke Hospital for many years. After retirement he worked at Liquors 44. Francis was a member of the Holyoke Knights of Columbus Council #90 and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He is survived by two sons: John Boisjolie and his wife Krystyna of West Springfield, and Michael Boisjolie of Virginia; one granddaughter, Olivia; a sister, Barbara Gaughan of Holyoke; and two brothers: Jim Boisjolie and Edward Boisjolie. He was predeceased by his siblings, Dorothy, Mildred, and Ernie. The funeral will be held Monday at 9:00am at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, followed by Mass at 10:00am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be held in St. Jerome Cemetery.
