HOLYOKE:  Joan T. (LaFlamme) Hogan passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the age of 87. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years John “Jack” Hogan and her eight children: three daughters; Susan Guarino, Karen Andre and Joan Mailloux; five sons: John, Brian, Vincent, Andrew & Sean Hogan, as well as 22 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Joan was a devoted mother and an excellent cook who loved to paint, garden and needlepoint. In her retirement years she loved “Wednesday night TGO girls night out”. May our Blessed Mother embrace her and bring her to our loving Lord; she will be missed by all.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan’s Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cross Church, 23 Sycamore Street, Holyoke. Burial will be at the convenience of her family. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 9th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
