Kathleen Jean Hoitt, 61, of South Hadley, died peacefully at home Monday June 19, 2017. Kathy was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Leslie B. and Stella M. (Wojciechowski) Hoitt. She is survived by a sister Janice M. Cassidy and her husband James of Westfield, and a brother, James L. Hoitt and his wife Maureen of Easton, MD. Kathy was predeceased by a sister, Arline E. Wilson. Kathy's family would like to express their sincerest thanks and appreciation to the staff at the Western Mass Training Consortium who she saw as her extended family, and to VNA Hospice Life Care for their compassionate care. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 11:00am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton St. Holyoke. Calling hours will be held prior to Mass from 9:30 to 10:30am at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
