Kyle Broderick Manijak, 28, of Holyoke, passed away suddenly on Wednesday May 24, 2017 surrounded by his loving family, at Holyoke Medical Center. Kyle was born February 6, 1989, son of Mark and Kathy (Broderick) Manijak, and loving brother and best friend of Connor Manijak. Kyle attended Sullivan School, Holyoke High School, and Dean Tech High School, where he dabbled in culinary arts. He touched many lives while attending public schools, including the wonderful teachers that guided him along the way. Kyle enjoyed the Special Olympics for many years. Besides his parents and brother, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Broderick (“Memere”); maternal aunt and Godmother Patti “DoDo” Broderick; his paternal aunts and uncles, JoJo and Jack Sbrega, Michael and Evelyn Manijak; Godfather Marty Dunn; cousins Dan and Melissa Sbrega, Kiki Sbrega, Tricia Lareese, Stephen Morin, Julie and Sara Arsenault, Bryan and Jenn Manijak, and many little cousins and extended family and friends who Kyle made card lists for. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Richard Broderick (“Grandpa”), and paternal grandparents Ann (“Nana”) and Earl Manijak (“Papa”). Family and friends are invited to gather for a funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Cross Church. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
