Laura Pouliot

HOLYOKE:  Laura (Therrien) Pouliot, age 89, a lifelong resident of Holyoke, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Willimansett Center West in Chicopee with her family by her side.  She was born and educated in Holyoke, daughter of the late Frederick and Blanche (Fouchette) Therrien.  A communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, Laura retired from the former Acme Chain in Holyoke, where she worked for many years.  She is survived by sons, Donald T. Pouliot and his wife Patricia of Ludlow, Richard H. Pouliot and his wife Cheryl of Shrewsbury, by daughters Nancy Rowell and her husband William of Holyoke, Diane Belliveau and her husband David of Lee, daughter-in-law Dolores Pouliot of Ludlow, 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  Besides her parents, Laura was predeceased by her husband, Roland L. Pouliot on July 22, 1993; son, James R. Pouliot on March 23, 2015 and brother, Rene Therrien.  All services are private. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
