Leona L. (Bessette) Leveille

HOLYOKE

Leona (Bessette) Leveille, sweet gentle soul, Leona walked this earth softly, in loving kindness.  She was the loving wife of Rene Leveille who predeceased her in 2016.  She was a creative homemaker, talented crafter, devoted mother to six children, and the best mother-in-law ever. She leaves her son Paul and wife Patricia Mitchell; son Marc and his wife Bonnie Gifford; son John and his wife Lyn Mitchell; daughter Lynn Leveille Kobylanski; son Tom and wife Claire Conway; and daughter Renee Leveille Freniere.  She will also be forever loved and missed by her 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday, March 15th at 8:30 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 14th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Western Mass Eldercare,4 Valley Mill Rd., Holyoke MA 01040.
