Linda A. Kelly

HOLYOKE

Linda A. (Barrett) Kelly, age 76, of Holyoke, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield with her family by her side.  She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late William R. and Mary A. (Turcotte) Barrett.  Linda was educated in the Holyoke Public Schools and was a graduate of STCC.  She worked as a Dental Office Administrator for many years and was a longtime member of the Holyoke YMCA.  Linda is survived by her husband, John J. Kelly of Holyoke; a brother, William R. Barrett, Jr. and his wife Barbara of CA; two sisters, Nancy Beaudry and her husband Perkins of West Yarmouth and Deborah Desroches of Holyoke; she leaves her aunt, Phyllis Turcotte of West Springfield and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Kenneth “Nate” Desroches, and James P. Kelly and two sisters-in-law, Claire K. Bridges and Mary K. Archer.   The family would like to thank the staff at Baystate Medical Center Oncology 3 for all of their support.  Friends and family are invited to meet for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street.  Burial will follow in St. Jerome Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.  The family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Linda to D’Amour Center for Cancer Care, 3350 Main Street, Springfield, MA 01107.
