HOLYOKE:  Marian Eulalia (Trammer) Poulin was born in Johnstown, PA to the late Fredrick and Eulalia (Wolfel) Trammer. Marian passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the age of 94, and was reunited with her late husband Lawrence Herman Poulin. Marian and Larry were long-time residents of Holyoke, Massachusetts where they raised their six children. She leaves to cherish in her memory Pastor Fredrick Poulin and his wife Cindy of Swansea, Lawrence Poulin of Holyoke, Marguerite “Peg” Earle of Medicine Hat, Alberta, William Poulin and his wife Doreen of Winchendon, Dorothy Monteiro and her husband Anthony of Brimfield, and Mary Manijak and her husband James of Chicopee; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two more arriving soon.  She leaves behind her sister Dorothy Tully of Agawam, along with many nieces and nephews. Marian was employed by the Sisters of Providence and worked as a registered nurse for over 50 years. In her free time she loved quilting, gardening, baking and spending time with loved ones. She had many choice phrases such as “you’ve got to eat a peck of dirt before you die!” and “I love you more.” She left her fingerprints on many lives and will be forever in our hearts.  The Funeral will be held on Thursday, June 29th at 7:30 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street.  Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Donations in her memory can be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 or Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
