HOLYOKE:  Michael B. Watson, 59, of Holyoke, passed away on April 14, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Holyoke to Doris Watson-Charbonneau on June 8, 1957. Michael went to school at Holy Rosary and later attended Holyoke Trade School.  He worked as a roofer for J.D. Rivet & Co. for many years, and continued on as a general contractor. He was involved with the South Hadley Sportsman’s Club. He loved being with his grandchildren, spending time with family and friends, and fishing. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Watson-Charbonneau and Richard Charbonneau. He is survived by his life partner, BethAnn Therrien; son, Michael Watson and partner Andrea Tassinari, daughter, Danielle Therrien and partner Taylor Guillemette and daughter Sarah Therrien and partner Claudio Mateo; grandchildren: Mikeyla Watson, Neely Rondeau, and Porter Guillemette. Four brothers: J.D., Burley, and Kenneth Watson and Richard Charbonneau, four sisters: Barbara and Alice Deschaine, Carolyn Wall, and Anne Vieu, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and one great-great niece. The Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery, South Hadley.
