HOLYOKE: Paul J. Morneau, age 81, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Soldiers Home in Holyoke. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Homer and Dorothy (Hamn) Morneau and was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School in Holyoke. Paul was a United States Navy Veteran, serving from July 21, 1955 to June 1, 1958. He was a longtime bus driver for Peter Pan and King Ward Bus Companies, retiring after many years. Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria (Yeomans Ellsworth) Morneau; four nephews, Allen, Stephen, Robert and John Morneau; two nieces, Mary LeBrecque and Donna Berg; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Morneau; and stepchildren, Walter Ellsworth, Lynn Chalue, Wesley Ellsworth, Sonya Pike as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by burial at 2:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam.
