FRESNO, CA

Taylor Louise Vaillancourt, daughter of Stacy (Goehring) Vaillancourt and Scott Vaillancourt, and granddaughter of Judith Wheatley Goehring, formerly of Holyoke and Westfield, died unexpectedly on August 23, 2017 in Fresno CA. She was 24. A resident of Fresno, CA, Taylor was born on August 11, 1993 in Manchester, NH. Taylor spent her early childhood in New Hampshire and Dunstable, Massachusetts, moving to northern California with her family at the age of 9 where she attended schools in Brentwood. Following a move to Fresno, Taylor graduated from Clovis West High School in 2012.  She then attended Willow International Community College through 2013. On April 16, 2015 Taylor welcomed her beloved daughter, Zoe Louise.  Zoe was her pride and joy, and they spent many happy times together at the beach, amusement parks, the zoo and playing at home. Taylor was also never far from her sidekick Ferris, her spirited little rescue pup. She loved them both dearly and was a wonderful mom.  She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her silly “Taylor-isms” and her determined approach to life. She loved photography and animals, and was a loyal and caring friend to many. While Taylor had experienced her share of struggles in her short life, she had come so far and we were so proud of the young woman she had become. In addition to her daughter Zoe, Ms. Vaillancourt is survived by a large and loving family including her mother, Stacy (Goehring) Vaillancourt of Fresno; father Scott Vaillancourt of Cypress, TX; beloved sister Kelsey Vaillancourt of Fresno; maternal grandmother Judith Wheatley Goehring of Fresno; paternal grandparents Edward and Kitty Bunker of Chelmsford MA; and her aunts, uncles and cousins: Lori Goehring of San Francisco; Gerilyn, Donald, Maggie & Myles Ferguson of Southbury CT; Sharon, Jerry, Chad and Cooper Flanders of Amherst NH.  She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Glenn Goehring and paternal grandmother, Sandra Louise Vaillancourt. Visiting hours are from 4-6 PM on Thursday, August 31. A celebration of Taylor’s life will be held Friday Sept.1 at 11 AM at the Funeral Home, with burial immediately following at Forestdale Cemetery.
