Wanda A. (Dziedzic) Midura, age 90, of North Adams, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Jozef and Zofia Dziedzic and was a graduate of Mater Dolorosa School and Holyoke High School Class of 1945. Wanda was a longtime personnel assistant at Westvaco/US Envelope Company, retiring in 1989. She had lived in Chicopee most of her life, before moving to North Adams in 2001. Wanda always had a positive attitude. Everyone was always welcome at her home and no one left hungry. A music lover, she sang with a local polka band. She was the widow of Edward J. Midura, who died in 1995. Wanda is survived by three children, Rev. John Midura and spouse Dan Frank of Adams, Deborah Bostic and her significant other Steve Morneau, of Old Orchard, ME, and David Midura and wife Tina of Ware; five granddaughters, Jennifer/Mike D’Amour, Kristina/Rich Rodriguez, Stephanie/Ben Carr/Amanda Bostic/Robert Denny/ Ashely Bostic; three grandsons, Adam/MaryKate Feit, Peter/Sufana Midura, Nicholas Midura; eight great grandchildren, Gabriel, Avery, and Samantha D’Amour, Cody and Macy Feit, Elithia and Maximo Rodriguez and Emma Denny, several nieces and nephews and a cousin and personal friends, Dale, Faye, Florence, Daisy, and Irene and her beloved dogs, Patty and Holly. She was predeceased by four brothers, John, Frank, Chester, and Walter Dziedzic and two sisters, Genevieve Hayseley and Veronica Mathieu. The Funeral will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:15 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke followed by a Mass in Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Chicopee at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery in Chicopee.
