Amy Lee Bennett, 43, of Holyoke, died Friday March 29, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. Amy was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Guy Bennett and Charlotte (Downie) Paterson. She spent winter weekends during her youth skiing at the Springfield Ski Club in Blandford and was an avid New England Patriots fan. She also enjoyed her peaceful hobby of gardening. Amy worked as a personal home health aide and will be missed by her patient Kevin. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Charlotte and George Paterson of Wilbraham; her husband, Michael Giguere; two daughters: Justine Bennett and Haley Giguere, both of Holyoke; her brother, Derek Bennett of East Longmeadow; her close friend Amie Nicholson; and many friends, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her best friend, Melissa Akin. A funeral service will be held Thursday April 4 at 10:00am in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by burial in St. Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday April 3 from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
