Angela (Tsopanos) Kehayias

Angela (Tsopanos) Kehayias, age 97, of Chicopee, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lemnos, Greece and moved to this country in 1956. Angela was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Holyoke. She was predeceased by her husband, James Kehayias who died in 1999. Angela is survived by her children, Maria Mantzios, with whom she lived and a son Steven Kehayias and his wife Glenda of South Windsor, CT. She also leaves 6 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great grandson and 1 great granddaughter.  A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 410 Main Street followed by burial in Forestdale Cemetery, both in Holyoke. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 410 Main St. Holyoke, MA 01040 or Beacon Hospice, 815 Worcester St. Springfield, MA 01151.
