Bronislawa Sikora

Bronislawa (Kudyba) Sikora, age 88, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Holyoke Medical Center. Bronislawa was born in Plazow, Poland, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kudyba. She was a longtime communicant of the former Mater Dolorosa Church, and was currently a parishioner of Our Lady of the Cross. Bronislawa was predeceased by her husband, Blazej Sikora in 2011. She is survived by two daughters: Halina Sadowski and her husband Richard of Holyoke, and Maria Rebizant and her husband Weslaw of Chicago, IL; three sons: Ryszard Sikora of Holyoke, Joseph Sikora of Ontario, Canada, and Peter Sikora and his wife Bozena of Ontario, Canada; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves two sisters in Poland and many nieces and nephews. Bronislawa was predeceased by a daughter, Krystyna Kukielka in Poland. The funeral will be held Saturday December 22 at 9:00am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by Mass in Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church at 10:00am. Burial will take place in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours are Friday December 21 from 4:00 to 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
