Cathleen Alice (Domingue) Dion Jones

Cathleen Alice (Domingue) Dion Jones, age 72, died peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Tuesday January 14, 2020. Cathleen was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Carl J. and Roberta L. (Rehbein) Domingue, and was a 1965 graduate of Holyoke High School. She had a long career in the Shipping & Receiving Warehouse department of Spaulding Corporation in Chicopee, retiring in 2012. Cathy was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Holyoke. Besides her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald G. Dion. She is survived by her loving husband Keith M. Jones of Chicopee; children: Deborah K. Boman and her husband Michael of Monson, Ronald A Dion and his wife Sherry of Monson, and LeeAnn G. Whalley and her husband Kyle of South Hadley, Rachel Garfi and her husband Anthony of Chicopee, Andrea Jones of Chicopee, and Kevin Jones of Garner, NC; 17 grandchildren: Christina, Alyssa, Jenna, Carolyn, Sullivan, Grayson, William, Joshua, Jimmy, Kyle, Derek, Jourdain, Nathan, Cole, Tylor, Shane, and Hannah; 2 great grandchildren, Lilliana and Joshua; a sister, Carol Pion of Carson City, Nevada, and several nieces and nephews. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters-in-law Rina Percy and Carol Dion. She was predeceased by a sister Susan Bliss. Visitation will be held Saturday January 18 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. A service will be held at 2:30 pm in the funeral home.
