HOLYOKE
David "Boo" Boucher, 72, of the Soldiers Home in Holyoke MA, was called to heaven on March 17, 2019. David was born in Holyoke on May 8, 1946 to the late Gerald and Letitia (Brunetti) Boucher. He attended Lawrence school and loved to play basketball. He graduated from Holyoke High in 1964. He joined the United States Air Force in 1965 and after basic training he was stationed at Blytheville Air Force Base in Arkansas. There he met his wife Joanne, and after Vietnam he returned and they were married. They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary June 4th of this year. He lived and worked in Holyoke and attended Holyoke Community College. David leaves his wife Joanne (Moody) Boucher, daughters, Lisa Poutre and husband Jonathan of Holyoke, Nicole Belisle and husband Ben of Palmer; two beautiful granddaughters, Samantha and Aubrey. He is also survived by his three sisters: Thelma Greene, Janet Reno, Patricia Vyce and his brother, Daniel Boucher and wife Faith Boucher, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved aunts. Committal with Military Honors will take place Friday, March 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 21st from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.
