David Lawrence DuBour, age 82, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Renaissance Manor in Holyoke. He was born and educated in Springfield and received a degree from LaSalle University. Son of the late Ernest A. and Mildred DuBour, David was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was retired after a career in the transportation industry. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and VFW in Phoenix, AZ and a published poet. David is survived by three sons: David, Christopher and Michael DuBour and a daughter: Holly Korzeniowski and her husband Richard; a brother, Ronald DuBour; a sister, Jean Gauger; several in laws including Mary DuBour who was a significant part of his life recently; and his grandchildren, David, Mark, Victoria, Kylee, Joseph, Jordyn, Amanda, Elizabeth, Jared, Emily, Pia and mother of his children Dorothy, as well as many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews, as well as his former wife Lucille. He was predeceased by his siblings, Ernest, Raymond, Gerald, John, Daniel, Michael, Thomas, Lawrence, Norma, Lois, Shirley, Janet and a grandson, Matthew, and a wife Lois. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Tuesday December 4 at 11:00am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by Mass at 11:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Committal prayers with Military Honors will be held at 1:00pm in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00am.
