HOLYOKE
David R. Foley, age 86, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Mont Marie Health Care Center. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late John J. and Margaret G. (Kennedy) Foley and was a graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School and American International College. David was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and a longtime communicant Sacred Heart Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. He was a retired Product Manager for Eastern Container Corporation of Springfield. He loved golf and was a member of the Wild Geese at the Holyoke Country Club and was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics fan. David is survived by his wife, Annette L. (LaBonte) Foley of Holyoke; a son, Daniel Foley and his wife Kim of Chicopee; and two daughters, Maryanne M. Foley and Susan E. Foley, both of Holyoke; a sister-in-law, Elaine Foley of South Hadley and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Father Daniel R. Foley and John M. Foley. David's family would like to thank the staff of Holyoke Medical Center, Mont Marie Rehabilitation and Health Care Center and Hospice Life Care for their compassionate care in his final days. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Chapel at Mont Marie, 36 Lower Westfield Road, Holyoke. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. A visiting hour will be held in the chapel from 9:00 to 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations in David's memory may be made to Jericho, P.O.
