Dorothy Mae (Craven) Gregory

EASTHAMPTON

Dorothy Mae (Craven) Gregory, 76, of Easthampton, passed away with her daughter by her side on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Nelson and Dorothy (Connelly) Craven and graduated from Northampton Commercial College. Dorothy has been employed as the Director of Food Service at Lathrop Home in Northampton for the past thirty-two years, working there as recently as last week. She lived most of her life in Easthampton, and was a volunteer at the former Immaculate Conception Parish. She was a very social person, and was always fun to be around. She was predeceased by her former husband, David T. Gregory, on November 12, 2017. Dorothy is survived by her best friend and daughter, Mary Catherine Gregory of Easthampton, and several cousins. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Dorothy on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow at Saint Brigid’s Cemetery, Easthampton. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
