Wondered why we had not heard from cousin Glenn past two Christmas seasons. He was working with us on his contribution to the Marple family history. He sent us a disc with photographs and we need to contact his sister June Beth for permission to put some of them in family history on line. Tried to find him tonight and got a very sad surprise. Glenn had e-mailed that he was looking forward to that trip. Such an adventurer. We miss that lad. He will never grow old. Deepest sympathy to June Beth and family. Met you once, June Beth, when your mother passed away.

I met Glenn on the Himalayas trek. He was kind, thoughtful, and enthralled by all the new experiences unfolding around him. As we traveled together through the rhododendron forests, he talked about his love of nature, the constant sense of wonder at the beauty of the vistas, and a deep sense of gratitude for the life he had led. After he mentioned he had recently published a book on wildflowers, we all asked that he eventually autograph for us his book. He was so modest, in talking about his teaching AP courses as well as all the other leadership roles he had quietly taken, that it was a great joy to walk along with him.

Glenn was our neighbor at the Cape. He was a good friend. We remember the cohogs he would share with us after collecting them at the beach and proudly displayed in his basket. He also made the best ice cream. We will miss the kayak trips to Nantucket sound by way of Swan pond.

Glenn and I met in the 1970s when he began to work with the UMass Rugby Club. He carried a large part of the administrative load and kept the Club ever improving. Well over a thousand rugby alumni are thankful for his efforts. He was and is ever still loved.

On behalf of Glenn's Classmates from HHS Class of 1968 we extend our sincere condolences to the Conway Family.
Glenn will be remembered by many of us as a happy go lucky guy, always a kind word and keep himself involved in many school activities. Oh, and he always had a smile as he passed one by in the halls or classroom.
His loss will be felt by many. God Bless
