Helen A. (Dziok) Hurley

SOUTHAMPTON

Helen A. (Dziok) Hurley, age 91, passed away peacefully Thursday October 11, 2018 at Linda Manor in Leeds. Helen was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late Stanley and Sophie (Kalish) Dziok and attended Holyoke schools. She was the widow of James R. Hurley, Sr. who passed away in 2010. Helen is survived by her son, James R. Hurley, Jr. and his wife Laurie of Southampton, MA, and two grandchildren: Daniel Hurley and Meghan Hurley, both of Southampton. A funeral service will be held Thursday October 18 at 1:00pm in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:30 to 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Town of Plainfield Council on Aging, 304 Main Street, Plainfield, MA 01070.
