James' obituary didn't note that he was an absolutely delightful neighbor, waving down our cars to engage us in conversation mainly so he could share some humorous or challenging thought, advice on how to better our gardens or ask questions which flattered our egos. The real heroine was dear Barbara, regardless of weather the early morning dog walker and for the long, long time of James' debilitating illness a constant care giver who was the love of his life. With beautiful weather now this little area of Wyckoff Park in Holyoke will not be the same without James, leaning on a rake talking with Dave Bryson or Jean Cavanagh or whoever had the time to listen and beckoning us to pause in our drives to join in the delightful conversations. My sympathy to Barbara and to all of us in this little part of Holyoke who will miss James terribly. Barbara C. Bernard

My sincere condolences, to the Granata and Briganti families...and all his relatives. I never knew this man...but I knew and know...many of his relatives, here in Niagara Falls...who are wonderful and hard-working.
