On behalf of the St. Joseph's Club, its baseball team in the TCL and the Thorndike community, we offer deepest condolences to Jim's family. Jim was giant in the TCL. The teams he has coached for the past 20 years were spectacular! The games that were played in Thorndike up at St. Joe's Ballpark, are always well attended, especially the games versus PeoplesBank. EVERYONE marked those dates on the calendar.
This year, rain has thrown a curve ball to all three games with both of our teams. Two of games will be played at St. Joe's Ballpark this week. I, with many others, look forward to those games. There were be an unfillable void this week without Jim. All of us will remember him fondly.
Rest easy friend.

"Whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live" John 11:25
I am so happy to have talked with you Jimmy, a couple weeks ago. The day you went home to be with Jesus was the day I received your letter & memorial card for Sharon. I was just about to e-mail a THANK YOU when the phone rang and Trisha told me the sad news. I was in disbelief! God just gained a wonderful Angel, and I know that you will be watching over us & keeping us in line. You have always been my 'go to cousin' when I needed you to answer questions about the Holyoke Crew.....especially Trisha. Not sure what she'll do with out you, she sure loved & respected you, me too. Always more like a big brother than a cousin. RIP Jimmy, and give hugs to everyone up there. And tell Cathy I will keep on leaving a SNICKERS BAR when I am in Holyoke visiting. PEACE BE WITH YOU, PEACE BE WITH ALL WHO MOURN YOUR PASSING.
