Jeanne M. (Lucier) Trudell

Jeanne Marie (Lucier) Trudell, age 94, of Holyoke, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on May 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Alexander and Georgianna (Lacost) Lucier. She attended local schools and was a longtime Holyoke resident. Jeanne will be sadly missed by her son, Paul N. Trudell and his wife Judy of Holyoke; her two daughters, Christine M. Deuso and her husband Edward of Springfield, and Denise A. Como and her husband Raymond of Holyoke; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She also leaves two sisters, Florence Wescott of NJ and Lorraine Pothier of FL; a brother, Louis Lucier of CA; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Jeanne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Normand Trudell, as well as five brothers: Alexander, Roland, Paul, Normand, and Raymond Lucier. Jeanne loved spending time with her family, crafting, collecting Betty Boop, camping, and traveling. The funeral will be held on Saturday, November 16th at 9:00 am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 15th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
