Jerry A. Moore

HOLYOKE

Jerry A. Moore, Sr., age 82, of Holyoke, passed into eternal rest on March 19, 2019 at Holyoke Medical Center with his beloved life partner, Anna Cote, by his side.  He was born in Hawaii, son of the late Aubrey and Dorothy (Starr) Moore and was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. Jerry had a passion for photography, auto racing, football, hiking and working in his yard.  Besides his partner, Anna Cote, he is survived by a brother, Thomas Moore and his wife Lori of Delaware; 3 children, Jerry Moore Jr., and his wife Debra of Dudley, MA, David Moore and his wife Susan of Medina, OH and Lori Poindexter and her husband Kevin of Cleveland, OH, as well as 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses on the 3rd floor of Holyoke Medical Center and Holyoke VNA and Hospice for the loving care and compassion they provided Jerry.  A Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam.  There are no calling hours.  The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
