CHICOPEE

Karen L. Mueller, age 61, of Chicopee, was called to everlasting life on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her home in Chicopee.  She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late George and Ruth (Daly) Mueller, and lived most of her life in Chicopee. Karen was employed as a Medical Assistant for many years at the office of Doctor Vinodray Shah in Holyoke, and previously worked for Doctor Marilyn Levine. She enjoyed traveling , and was a big sports fan. She loved the Dallas Cowboys football team, the Boston Red Sox and she was big fan of the UCONN Huskies Ladies Basketball Team. She was also a fan of oldies music. Karen is survived by her brother, Mark Mueller and his wife Beverly Mueller  both of Chicopee, her niece Heidi Mueller and her son Austin Spence of Chicopee, and two nephews: Bill Mueller and his wife Melissa Mueller of Wilbraham and Matthew Mueller and his fiancé Jaime Peck of Granby. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant baby brother William Mueller. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Karen’s calling hours and funeral service on Friday, May 5^th at 10:00 a.m. at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. A burial will follow at Forestdale Cemetery in Holyoke. Memorial contributions in memory of Karen can be made to Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, 34 Jarvis Ave. Holyoke MA 01040.
