HOLYOKE

Kimberly “Kim” Kennedy Bedard of Wareham, succumbed to her tumultuous battle with addiction on the evening of December 21st 2017. Kim was born in Holyoke, MA and was a graduate of Easthampton High Class of 1990. After high school, Kim worked in the food industry before working in the customer service department for MassMutual. Her greatest accomplishment in life were her two daughters Caroline O’Leary of Mattapoisett and McKenna Mortimer of Westfield. In addition to her daughters, she is survived by her parents Michael Kennedy of Cape Cod and Candy Athas of Holyoke. She is also survived by her siblings Katie Suchecki, Heather Kennedy, Lindsay Loumiotis, Megan Williams and Michael Kennedy. She also leaves behind her stepfather Charles Athas of Holyoke, nieces and nephews Brianna and Alexander Tejada, Ella, Eli, Ava, and Addie Suchecki, Mia and Chase Williams and Scarlet Louimotis, several aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends. Kim is also survived by her paternal grandparents Joan and Francis Kennedy of Cape Cod. Kim was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Regina and Leonard Kane of Holyoke. Kim will be remembered for a profound love of being with her family and friends, her ability to always find a silver lining in situations and her amazing knack for finding the goodness in all people she met. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday January 3 at 10:00am in St. Patrick’s Chapel of St. Jerome Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.
