Kyong Sun Mailloux, age 68, of Chicopee, died Monday November 27, 2017 at Mount Saint Vincent Care Center in Holyoke. Kyong Sun was born in Kyonghung-Kun, Hambuk-Do, Korea daughter of Song Sam Chon and Son Hui Yu and emigrated here from Kunsan, Korea 37 years ago. Kyong Sun enjoyed to crochet and loved gardening. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ronald C. Mailloux of Chicopee; two sons: Christopher R. Mailloux and Charles R. Mailloux; two daughters: Kyong Hi Mailloux and Edna Mailloux; four grandchildren: Jalyn, Christopher, Makenzie, and Sophia; a brother, Yong Mo Chon; four sisters: Yong Sun Chon, Sun Cha Chon, Sun Moore Myong, and Nam Sun Chon. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00pm at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam, MA. Calling hours will be held at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St. Holyoke, MA, prior from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
