HOLYOKE
Maneesha-Faith M. Lalchandani, 23, lost her battle with mental illness and tragically died by a self-inflicted wound on Friday January 18, 2019 at her home in Holyoke. Born October 19, 1995, she was the daughter of Dr. Manohar Lalchandani, of Holyoke, and Michelle Lalchandani of Westfield. Maneesha was a lifelong resident of Holyoke and attended First Lutheran School. She graduated from Chicopee Comprehensive High School in 2014 and went to become a proud member of the United States Air Force. She also enjoyed her job as a Correctional Officer for the state of Vermont. Maneesha was incredibly giving of herself, and loving, and it showed in how she cared for her nieces and nephew above all things. She was gifted when it comes to creating crafts and was a natural care taker. She had a zest for life and enjoyed physical activities such as running and weight lifting; she was known to be adventurous and fearless. She was always ready with a helping hand for whoever asked and strived to always do better. Along with her father and mother, she will be forever missed by her siblings, Michael, Indira, Mano Jr., Marina Mathur, Haresh, and Chandler of Holyoke, Marissa of Chicopee, and Elliot of East Longmeadow; Brother-in-law Joe Broska of Holyoke; future sister-in-law Shay Hudson of Holyoke; nieces Madlyn and Lorelei of East Longmeadow, Sophia of Holyoke; nephew Mason of Holyoke; and a step-brother Nick Rodriguez of Holyoke. All services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to D.B.S.A., 55 E. Jackson Blvd, Suite 490, Chicago, Illinois 60604
