Michael J. Dupont, age 52, of Holyoke, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 12, 2018.  Michael was born on August 1, 1966 to the late Gerald H. and Isabel C. (Millane) Dupont and was a graduate of Holyoke High School and American International College.  He had been a self-employed owner of Subway restaurants and some other small local businesses.  Michael is survived by two sisters, Peggy Kelly and her husband Brian of Holyoke and Melissa Rettura and her husband Matt of Belchertown; his beloved nephews, Patrick and his wife Kate, Sean and Brendon Kelly of Holyoke and Nicholas Rettura of Belchertown.  Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside committal prayer service on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jerome Cemetery, Northampton Street, Holyoke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michael’s name to First Lutheran School, 1810 Northampton Street, Holyoke, MA 01040. There are no calling hours. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
