HOLYOKE:  Mollie J. (Kucharski) Grace, age 93, passed away peacefully Thursday December 21, 2017 at Holyoke Health Care Center. Mollie was born in Hadley, MA daughter of the late Adam and Anna Kucharski, and graduated from Hopkins Academy and Northampton Commercial College. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Cross Parish.  Mollie was a long time employee of Mt.Tom Ski Area and Ski Sundown.  She enjoyed cooking and gardening and spending time with family. Mollie was the widow of John O. Grace, who died in 1983. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia C. Welch and her husband David of Holyoke; her daughter-in-law Mary (Sullivan) Grace of Easthampton; five grandchildren: Meredith Desrochers and her husband Bill, Timothy Grace, Todd Grace and his wife Renee, John Grace, and Kristen Welch; and five great-grandchildren: Jack, Leah, Shaye, Owen, and Nora; and sisters, Edwina Watroba of Easthampton and Irene Zima of Hatfield, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mollie was predeceased by a son, John R. “Jack” Grace in 1999 and a daughter Karen A. Grace in 2016, as well as her siblings Jean, Walter, Lottie and Freddie. The funeral will be held Friday December 29 at 10:00am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by Mass in Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church at 10:30am. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Holyoke. Calling hours will take place Friday from 9:00 to 10:00am.
