Sharon Atwell

HOLYOKE:  Sharon H. Atwell, age 69, of Holyoke, died Monday, March 19, 2018 at Holyoke Medical Center.  She was born in Holyoke and had worked for Micro-Tek in Chicopee, retiring after 25 years.  She is survived by her sister, Sheila Kurtz of Holyoke; her brother, Terry Atwell of TX and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; with special thanks to her niece, Dariel Giroux, for all of the love and care she gave Sharon throughout the years.  The Funeral will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 1945 Northampton Street.  Burial will be held at a later date.  A calling hour will be held prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The family requests to please omit flowers and make donations to the charity of one’s choice.
