HOLYOKE:  Stefania (Buhle) Gniado, age 89, of Holyoke, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Holyoke Medical Center.  She was born in Lodz, Poland, daughter of the late Herbert and Wladyslawa (Lugoslawa) Buhle and was educated in Poland.  She had lived here for many years and was a retired Inspector at National Blank Book Company. Stefania was a longtime communicant of Mater Dolorosa Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gniado.  Stefania is survived by a sister, Krystyna Zrodzina and family in Poland. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Cross Parish Church, 23 Sycamore Street, Holyoke. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley.  There are no calling hours. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
