Thomas F. Mulvihill, age 64, of Holyoke, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Thomas F. and Margaret M. (O’Connell) Mulvihill and graduated from Holyoke Catholic High School in 1971 and Saint Michael’s College in 1975. Tom was a retired underwriter at The Hartford Insurance Company. He was a member of Holyoke Knights of Columbus Council 90, a communicant of Saint Jerome Parish, and was an avid New York Yankees fan. He is survived by two sisters: Margaret “Peggy” Mulvihill and partner Bruce Whitman of Needham, and Ann Marie Mulvihill of Needham; his Godchild Michael Britton, and many cousins, including a special cousin, John O’Connell of Holyoke. The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 18th at 8:30 a.m. from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass in Saint Patrick Chapel of Saint Jerome Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Jerome Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, Nov. 17^th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jericho, PO Box 1039, Holyoke MA 01041-1039.
