Willie Albert Wright

Willie Albert Wright, age 76, of Chicopee, MA passed away peacefully on November 15, 2018. He was born in West Point, Georgia on July 10, 1942.  Willie was the son of late Willie Bertha Robinson and Ernest Wright.  He moved from Opelika, Alabama in 1961 to Holyoke, Massachusetts where he became an amateur boxer and he worked at Digital Electronics until he became disabled.   Willie left behind his ex-wife, Linda Jordan; two sons, Clifton (CA), Willie Jr. Wright (Agawam, MA); one daughter, Taisha White (Solomon) and several grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters; Lisa and Shirley Wright; two nieces, Cynthia Thomas and Tocarra Wright; four nephews, Eugene Miller, Sr., Willie James Wright, Terrence N. and Terrell Thomas and a host of other relatives.  Besides his parents, Willie was predeceased by three brothers: Eddie Robinson, Lewis Charles and Albert Lee Wright; two sisters: Mary Miller and Dorothy Ann Smith and one favorite niece, Mary (Lulu) Wright.   A Funeral Home Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke.  Burial will follow in Forestdale Cemetery.  A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
