Adam M Maymi Obituary

We remember Adam Michael Maymi, whose spirit departed from us on Feb 14, 2025, at the age of 25. Adam was a bright light in peoples’ lives—we remember his remarkable gratitude, unwavering love for his family and friends, and of course, his goofy personality. His teddy bear hugs and beautiful smile radiated comfort and joy. Born to Carmen and Angelo Maymi Sr., as one of a set of triplets, Adam cherished the deep bond he shared with his two sisters, Alyssa and Abigail Maymi, as well as his older brother, Angelo Maymi Jr., whom he adored. Adam took immense pride in his large Puerto Rican family, cherishing annual gatherings such as Thanksgiving at cousin Elizabeth (Dolly) and Mike Forton’s house, filled with dozens of cousins, aunts, and uncles. He also leaves behind his cherished grandparents Jesus and Bonifacia Rosa, uncle Jesus Rosa Jr., aunt Maria Rodriguez, cousins Hariel, Alex, Kiara, and Charles, and many other beloved relatives and friends. A celebration of Adam’s life will be held on Thursday, Feb 20, 2025 at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home in his hometown, Holyoke, from 4-7 PM. In lieu of a funeral, there will be a memorial service held at the family’s church, LifePoint Church, in Chicopee on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11 AM. As we gather to honor and remember the life of Adam, we kindly request that, in lieu of sending flowers, you consider keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your support and presence are deeply appreciated. In honor of Adam, the family encourages everyone to embrace life with kindness, gratitude, and a smile—just as he always did.
