CHICOPEE: Adrienne (Bourgoin) Moreau, age 79, of Chicopee, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in Drummond, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Alfred and Roseanne (Morin) Bourgoin and lived in the United States for most of her adult life. Adrienne worked as a machine operator for Dielectrics Inc. until her retirement. Adrienne was a very creative individual who enjoyed photography, music, and art. She loved taking photos, especially of nature and her family, to create albums, which she would share with her family and friends. Adrienne also loved singing karaoke and playing her keyboard, particularly country music. Adrienne’s greatest love was family, especially her grand-children upon whom she doted on whenever possible. They were her true treasures. Adrienne is survived by her husband of 61 years, Euclide Moreau, a daughter Rachel Dionne and her husband Todd of Southampton, a son, Randy Moreau and his wife Lauren of East Longmeadow, and 5 grandchildren Jacob, Rebecca, Gavin, Ryan and Margot; five siblings: Paul Bourgoin (Edwena), Alphonse Bourgoin (Marie-Mai),Venette Michaud (late Gerard), Mariette Lagace (late George), and Therese Sirois (late Roland), as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Adrienne was predeceased by two brothers, Edgar (Sarah), Jacques Bourgoin, and two sisters, Emilia Cote (late Philip) and Noella Bourgoin. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road, Westfield, MA. Burial will be at a later date. There are no calling hours. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
