Alan Robert Tenney

Alan Robert Tenney, passed away peacefully at home from natural causes on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Alan was born on February 21, 1975 at Providence Hospital in Holyoke, attended Chicopee Schools, and was a longtime manager for Car Parts International, CPI in West Springfield, MA. Alan was known for his sarcastic, witty sense of humor and his larger-than-life presence will be truly missed. He leaves behind his father Lester Tenney, mother Judith Tracy, his older brother Michael, sister in-law Cathy, niece Jordan Tenney, her son Forest, nephew Robert Rollins, cousin Michael “Mickey” Smith and his wife Lisa, as well as, many aunts, cousins, and extended family. A graveside service will be held at Forestdale Cemetery, 304 Cabot St, Holyoke, MA on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  All are welcome to attend. Dress is casual as that is what Alan would have wished. Because of Alan’s great love for animals, especially dogs, the family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Alan’s honor directly to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St, in Springfield, MA, www.dakinhumane.org or the TJ O’Connor Animal Control & Adoption Center, 627 Cottage St. in Springfield, MA, www.tjofoundation.org.
