On August 14, 2023, Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Amber Rae Leitl, age 37, of Chicopee, MA unexpectedly left this world far too soon. Born on April 27, 1986, Amber was predeceased in 2015 by her mother Denise Leitl, whom she loved and missed immensely. She is survived by her father, Daniel Leitl and his wife Joyce Premont Leitl, her sister Shantel Leitl, daughters Krystina Wright and Kailey Minor, nephew Cole Lemois, her Grandma and Grandpa, Raymond and Annette Narey, and her grandparents Nathan and Mariette Leitl. Her heart was full living alongside her partner James Minor. The things in life that brought her the most joy were astronomy, writing poetry, spending time with her daughters, her pets, and running her various social media accounts. Grandma and Grandpa were her constant source of support and encouragement. She aspired to work in the computer field and had big dreams for her future. An amazing thing about Amber was that even if she didn’t have much, she never turned anyone away. Her door was always open to those in need. In addition to immediate family, Amber was loved by her half brother, Justyn Leitl-Tetreault, as well as brothers and sisters Brickelle, Aidan, Madigan, and Nathan. She also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and very dear friends. She will be missed tremendously. Calling hours will be held Friday, August 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA. Mass will be on Saturday, August 19th, at 10:00 a.m.at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 30 Main Street, South Hadley, MA.
