Holyoke: Anatolia Vazquez, age 66, of Holyoke, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, a daughter of Eladio Vazquez and Margarita Collazo, and moved to Holyoke in 1982. Her high school name was Luis Muñoz Rivera. Anatolia was employed as a Buyer for the City of Holyoke Purchasing Department for over 35 years, and was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Holyoke, currently Saint Jerome Parish. She is survived by three daughters: Iris Guzman, Rosa Guzman, and Alexandra Lopez; five grandchildren: Damien Smith, Summer Dwight, Isabella Guzman-Aristy, Shaiel Nazario and Cataleya Lowe-Hargrove; four brothers: Eladio Vazquez, Ramon Santiago, Martin Collazo and Edwin Aviles as well as two sisters: Iris Vazquez and Beatriz Aviles. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 25th at 10:00 am from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at Saint Jerome Church, 169 Hampden Street. Burial will follow in Forestdale West Cemetery, Rock Valley Road. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral on Tuesday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
