Angel Santiago Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angel Santiago, who was called to heaven on February 16, 2025. Born to Maria Melendez and Guadalupe Santiago on May 29, 1965, Angel was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

Angel was a passionate New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys fan who never missed a game. He found joy in playing softball, capturing life's moments through his camera, and spending time with friends at his favorite spots. However, nothing brought him more happiness than watching his grandchildren grow and creating cherished memories with his family and friends.

Angel leaves behind his four loving daughters:

Vanessa Santiago and her husband, Jeff Lagoy, along with their daughters, Janiya Lee and Mia Lee Lagoy

Janixa Santiago and her daughter, Malani Perez

Janisa Santiago

Angie Santiago and Xavier Rodriguez

He is also survived by many siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever hold him in their hearts. Angel is now reunited with his parents, best friend, and beloved grandson, watching over us from above.

Family and friends are invited to honor Angel’s life at a visitation on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at:

Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton St., Holyoke, MA 01040
