Anita L. Beaulieu Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Anita Lucielle (Bergeron) Beaulieu, who left us on April 11, 2025, at the age of 84, after a life beautifully lived. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. In 1959, Anita married the love of her life, Raymond G. Beaulieu. Together, they raised four children and created a beautiful home, filled with so much love and laughter. They enjoyed singing in the St. Rose/AJAC minstrel shows, the St. Anne's choir, and dancing together whenever they could. Anita dedicated twenty-five years of service to Louis and Clark, formerly known as Key Drug Store, where she happily worked as a customer service representative. Anita's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering a loving environment. Her homemade fudge and Magic Cookie Bars were legendary among all who were lucky enough to be on the receiving end of her generosity. Anita's love for nurturing things was evident in her beautiful gardens in both Chicopee and Avon Park, FL, which she lovingly tended for over four decades. Anita made friends wherever she went. From Massachusetts to Avon Park, FL, Anita was always out and about singing in the choir, shopping, or just hanging at the local establishment, enjoying a Busch Light and being the life of the party. A woman of quiet strength and steadfast generosity, Anita could always be counted on to lend a hand, no matter how great or small the need. A devoted member of St. Anne Parish, Anita remained deeply engaged in her community throughout her life. She generously gave her time and talent to many local organizations such as the Fairview Knights of Columbus Council 4044, Moose Family Center, and the St. Anne's Choir. Anita is survived by her sons, John R. Beaulieu and his wife Patty, Mark S. Beaulieu and his wife Janet, her daughters, Brenda Beaulieu Morantes and her husband Ramses, and Lori Boucher and her husband Bob. Her loving grandchildren are Miranda and Shane Beaulieu, Ryan House, Aaron and Zachary Beaulieu, Ramses Raymond and Sophia Morantes, and Delaney Boucher. Her great-grandchildren are Everly Kline and Harper Beaulieu. She also leaves behind a sister, Betty McClement and Jim, and a brother, Fred Bergeron and Jackie, along with many nieces, nephews, and countless friends who felt her warmth and generosity. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond; her sisters, Linda Bergeron and Lorraine Perkins; her brother, Arthur Bergeron; and Fumiko. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday June 9, 2025, at 10:00am at Ste. Rose -De-Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee, MA., burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery, Olson St., Chicopee, MA. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman.
