Ann Louise (Geeleher) Morin Obituary

Ann Louise Morin (nee Geeleher) passed away peacefully at home in Northborough, MA on Wednesday September 10, 2025 surrounded by her loving husband and four children. Ann was born in Holyoke on October 3, 1944 to John and Catherine Geeleher. She graduated from Holyoke High School, Holyoke Junior College and American International College and began a career as a teacher at the Kelly School in Holyoke. On August 26, 1967 she married Paul Morin and over their happy 58 year marriage they were blessed with four children and eleven grandchildren. After the birth of her oldest child, Ann decided to leave teaching to focus on her family and service projects in the community, from serving as a Den mother for Cub Scouts to co-founding the Northborough Food Pantry with her friend Pat Link. When her youngest child started high school, Ann returned to the classroom herself. She obtained a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock University (now the Wheelock College at Boston University) and finished her teaching career with seventeen years as a pre-K teacher at Immaculate Conception School in Marlborough, MA. She is survived by her devoted loving husband, Paul Morin, her four children, Barry Morin, Kara Morin, Daniel Morin and Timothy Morin, her daughters-in-law Tricia Morin, Thea Morin and Sandra Morin, son-in-law Roger Fussa, grandchildren Emily Morin, Allison Morin, Brenna Morin, Connor Morin, Shea Morin, Cayden Morin, Peter Fussa, Katherine Fussa, Owen Morin, Patrick Morin and Shannon Morin, her brother, John Geeleher, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In her final years, Ann loved spending time with her large family, singing Irish music and dancing to her favorite tunes in her kitchen. In lieu of flowers, Ann’s family encourages you to donate to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or to your local food bank. Ann’s life will be celebrated with a Catholic funeral mass at Our Lady of the Holy Cross in Holyoke, the church where she was baptized and married, on Thursday, September 18th, at 10 a.m.
