Anthony Martins, age 72, of Chicopee, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at Holyoke Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke, a son of the late Manuel and Shirley (Lawless) Martins and was educated in the Holyoke schools. He had a long association with the Center for Human Development. Tony enjoyed TV and his favorite movie was the Wizard of Oz. He is survived by two brothers: David of Chicopee and Robert of Westfield; three sisters: Judy Blanchard of Enfield, Linda Marek of PA and Mary Mason of Cincinnati OH, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Anthony was predeceased by a brother Manuel Martins and a niece Jennifer Martins. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, Holyoke. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, PO Box 1120, Framingham MA 01701
